OPEESA membership is open to Distributor, Manufacturer, and Affiliate companies serving the outdoor power equipment and air-cooled engine industry. Membership is the primary way to engage with OPEESA — including event sponsorship, which is available to member companies rather than as a separate track.
Each application is reviewed against the criteria below. Final approval rests with the OPEESA Board of Directors. Distributor members hold the association’s voting rights.
Companies distributing outdoor power equipment, OEM parts, and air-cooled gas or diesel engines to retailers.
Companies manufacturing outdoor power equipment, engines, and parts for the distributor channel, and other suppliers of products that distributors resell.
Supporting businesses serving the retail and wholesale segments of the outdoor power equipment industry — banks, financial services, marketing companies, and similar providers.

Member companies can sponsor OPEESA's Annual Meeting — a direct way to get in front of the distributors, manufacturers, and affiliates who make up the industry.
Review the eligibility criteria above for Distributor, Manufacturer, or Affiliate membership. Manufacturer applicants will also need a sponsoring OPEESA distributor member.
Submit a membership information request. An OPEESA team member will follow up with the application and next steps for your category.
Completed applications go to the OPEESA Board of Directors for review. Approved members are welcomed with access to the member directory, resources, and Annual Meeting.
